and I started this business out of my room in my apartment.
why the hell would i do that? because i was tired of traveling from thrift shop to thrift shop looking for vintage sports hats all to find they’re either in rough condition with little structure or just don’t fit right.
my thought was, why isn’t there a business that produces unique vintage sports designs that actually fit?
so i decided to start one.

if you’re anything like me, you’ve spent years buying retro and vintage hats from thrift stroes, online sellers, pop-ups, and anywhere you can find them in hopes they fit right… all to find out they don’t!
at less casual we have filtered through thousands of hat styles so you don’t have to. our 5-panel and varying profile hats provide enough space to showcase our vintage designs, but keep style, comfort, and fit at the forefront.
why less casual?
i wear hats everywhere, out with friends, to work, to sporting events, to meetings- you name it, I’ve got a hat on and i know i’m not alone!
so i wanted to curate a style that could be dressed up or down to fit any occasion.
you shouldn’t be limited to wearing what you want a fraction of the time. wear what you want — when you want, and if that means being less casual about it, then we’re here for it.
